Cohiba Sublimes Extra
Havana, April 2008. Sublimes Extra is the vitola chosen by Habanos s.a. for the Cohiba Habanos Collection. As usual this case resembles a book and it represents the Volume No. 8 of this Special Serie.
This case contains 20 Sublimes Extra cigars (girth 54 and 184 mm long), a size especially designed for this collection to be remembered as one of the greatest smokes ever within the brand. A considerable length, a beautiful girth comprising a well balanced blend, an excellent draw, a refined aroma and the Cohiba´s unique taste are the features that really stands out in this release.

to present the "Gran Reserva", launched for the first time ever in "Cohiba", the most prestigious premium cigar brand in the
world.
This first ever Habanos Gran Reserva
enhances the unique character of Habanos as a
“Denominacion de Origen Protegida” (protected Denomination of origin). The Gran
Reserva concept means the best of what Habanos has ever made. The best Cuban
tobacco leaves harvested in 2003 have been selected, fermented and inspected for
a long period of five years. All the leaves used to make up a Habano -the
wrapper, the filler and the binder have undergone this meticulous 5 year
process.
Those precious leaves, after five years
of care, are then laid in the skilful hands of Cohiba´s expert Cuban
cigar-rollers at "El Laguito" factory in order to create this exquisite Habano
for the most distinguished smokers
Cohiba 1966 Limited Edition 2011
Cohiba 1966 ((52 ring gauge x 166 mm
in the length). This Edición Limitada commemorates
the 45th anniversary of Cohiba, the flagship brand
of Habanos, with an unique format specially selected for this occasion. These 10
Habanos have been made totally by hand using a
selection of tobacco leaves from the plantations of San Juan y
Martínez * (D.O.P) and San Luis* (D.O.P) in the Vuelta
Abajo* (D.O.P) zone, Cuba, aged for a minimum of two
years.
Partagas Serie E No. 2
Partagás, the famous brand of the
Habanos, had its origins in the year 1845. Its characteristics formats, very
well appreciated historically by the smokers who enjoy intense flavors. The
Series will complement the range that the brand already has with the much
appreciated Serie D No 4 and considered by experts as the most
representative vitola.
A Partagás Habano is
immediately recognized by its rich and intense flavor. The nature of its blend,
made up by tobacco leaves selected from the Vuelta
Abajo Region, is of an inimitable richness and aroma. All
the Habanos are manufactured ¨Totalmente a Mano¨ con
tripa larga (Long Filler Totally by Hand).
The new Partagás Serie E
No.2 (54 ring gauge x140mm length) inaugurates a new Partagas
Serie, exclusively created with a ring gauge of 54, greatest ring
gauge up to now presented in parejos for this brand: as an innovation to its
image, a flap to separate the cigars in the box and an exterior lithographed
piece of paper has been added to make the wooden boxes of the brand more easily
identifiable in the outlets.
Montecristo No. 2 Gran Reserva
- Habanos s.a. presents the first Gran Reserva of Montecristo, manufactured in which probably is the most widely appreciated brand of Habanos*, in the Montecristo No. 2 vitola, the most emblematic of the brand.
- With a limited production of 5000 numbered boxes of 15 units each, all the leaves have been aged for at least 5 years.
- Since its origins in 1935, Montecristo has consolidated itself as one of the most widely recognized brands of Habanosamong the most demanding smokers. Now, Habanos, S.A. is pleased to present Montecristo, considered for many as the reference of flavor of the Habano, the first Gran Reserva of this brand.This new Gran Reserva digs deeper into the unique character of Habanos* as Protected Appellation of Origin. For the production of this Gran Reserva of Montecristo, the best tobacco leaves were selected from Vuelta Abajo*, Cuba*, harvested in 2005. All the leaves that make a Habano, filler, wrapper and binder, were aged during a long and careful process of at least 5 years.
- These were no less than 5 years of care, control of the evolution of the aging of these precious leaves that, finally, in the master hands of the experienced Montecristo cigar rollers in the H. Upmann factory take shape to create a unique Habanoto satisfy the pleasure of the most demanding smokers.The emblematic Montecristo No. 2 vitola has been the one chosen for this unique production that makes the Gran Reserva of Montecristo.
